As Barbra Streisand once sang in A Chorus Line on Broadway, “Everything was beautiful at the ballet.” From the beautiful ballet performances to the extravagant outfits worn by the guests, the ballet is quite a unique attraction around the world, especially in New York City.
And, on Oct 5, the beauty of the New York City Ballet was seen more than ever as stars joined to celebrate the dance company’s 75th anniversary. According to the official invite, the night was jam-packed with arts and beauty. Among the events on the lineup were two pieces from Co-Founding choreographers George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins, Glass Pieces and Who Cares? “Special guest vocalists Joshua Henry, Patti LuPone, and Vanessa Williams will share the stage with NYCB’s dancers to perform these iconic standards from the American Songbook,” the invite added.
Many of our favorite stars were in attendance, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Kruger, Naomi Watts, Molly Ringwald, Andy Cohen and many others. To check out some of the night’s best looks, scroll below!
