ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – While many movies are filmed in Atlanta soundstages, they rarely feature the city itself as the film’s setting. “My Favorite Holiday,” however, places Atlanta front and center.
Tabari Sturdivant, the film’s executive producer, writer and director, came to Atlanta News First with actors Jabari Harvey and Akai Marje to talk about its production. Sturdivant previously worked with Tyler Perry Studios, and this film took just three months to make, he said.
“My Favorite Holiday” premieres Thursday night at the Peachtree International Film Festival. You can buy tickets here.
