Meryl Streep Breaks Her Own Golden Globe Record With New Nomination | Entertainment


Meryl Streep has broken her own Golden Globe record achieving her 33rd nomination for her role as Loretta Durkin in ‘Only Murders in the Building.’ Prior to the release of the 2024 Golden Globe nominations, Streep had a record-breaking 32 nominations to her name, along with eight wins. This is her fourth TV nomination, having previously been nominated for ‘First… Do No Harm’ and won for ‘Angels in America’ and ‘Big Little Lies.’ The 74-year-old actress’ film success at the Golden Globes includes her wins for ‘Kramer vs. Kramer’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’ The ‘Mamma Mia’ star also received the honorary Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2017. ‘Only Murders in the Building’ stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez and is co-created and written by Steve Martin and John Hoffman.
