Jonathan Majors Convicted Of Assault, Dropped By Marvel | Arts And Entertainment

Marvel actor Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment by a New York jury. Out of his four charges, he was found not guilty of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second-degree. His sentencing is scheduled for February 6 and the charges carry a sentence of up to one year in prison. Following the verdict, Marvel Studios dropped Majors as Kang the Conqueror from its upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films. The charges stemmed from an incident where Majors called 911 claiming to find his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari, unconscious in their apartment. In a statement after the verdict, the actor’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said Majors “looks forward to fully clearing his name”.
