Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were all smiles Tuesday as they hosted a star-studded event to celebrate The Kinsey African American Art and History Collection in Los Angeles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated the arts with a slew of famous faces, including Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles and British actor David Oyelowo.
According to a press release on their official website, the Sussexes said the collection is known for having “one of the most extensive holdings of African American art, artifacts, and documents.”
The pair proudly detailed their involvement with the collection on their website, stating that they “discussed the history and significance of black art and how our communities can work together to preserve this vital piece of American history.”
Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, also joined guests for a private exhibition tour
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, The Kinsey Collection posted snaps from the event held at Sofi Stadium at Hollywood Park.
Images from the event show the couple, who quit royal life in 2020, embracing fellow guests and rubbing shoulders with several well-known stars.
The “Suits” alum’s mother, Doria Ragland, was photographed smiling alongside Beyoncé’s mother as the pair had arms around each other.
It’s no surprise that Ragland and Knowles spent quality time together at the event as they have been pals for a few years
The Sussexes famously struck up a friendship with Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, following their Brit Awards acceptance speech in Feb. 2019 in which they praised the royals.
The foursome then enjoyed a reunion that July when the Carters were in London for the premiere of “The Lion King,” which stars the “Cowboy Carter” artist.
More recently, the Sussexes were seen enjoying Beyoncé’s sold-out “Renaissance” world tour when it made stops at LA’s SoFi Stadium in Sept. 2023.
Markle’s mom joined the duo in a private box as they danced the night away.
And Markle loved it so much that she and her mother returned for a second night without the Duke.
