Taylor Swift’s ‘Tortured Poets Department’ Hits 1-Month At No. 1 | Entertainment

Taylor Swift’s latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ has spent one month at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.  The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums in the US by converting streaming numbers to album-equivalent sales. Swift’s album is the first to achieve this feat since Travis Scott’s album ‘Utopia.’ Her album earned 260,000 equivalent units in its fourth week, the highest units earned in its fourth week since Adele’s ’25’ in 2016 with 825,000 units. This fourth week marks Swift’s 73rd career week at number one, extending her record among solo artists. Elvis Presley is second with 67 weeks.  The singer-songwriter is currently the most-streamed artist in the world, with over 113 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
