Chattanooga native and R&B legend Usher will be honored with a lifetime achievement award at the 2024 BET Awards in June.
The network made the announcement Thursday, saying it looks forward to creating an amazing lineup to pay tribute to the global icon.
Usher visited the Scenic City several times over the past few years, the most recent was in April 0f 2024.
The prestigious honor has previously gone to music legends like Prince, Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah and Lionel Richie.
The 45-year-old Usher is an eight-time Grammy winner who’s also nominated for four BET Awards this year — including best Male R&B, Pop Artist and Album of the Year.
The BET Awards airs live on June 30 at 8:00pm ET.
