National Daughter’s Day is a holiday devoted to celebrating the wonder that is a daughter. First celebrated in 2007, it’s dedicated to recognizing the intelligent, funny and beautiful young women who enrich their parents’ lives. A reporter in 1994 visited a few offices that had invited employees’ daughters into the workplace. Though it took place 13 years before the founding of the holiday, the spirit was the same. A day set aside to highlight daughters and all they contribute.
