Draymond Green doesn’t seem too concerned about Klay Thompson’s recent social media activity.

Green said he found it “f–king hilarious” that Thompson unfollowed the Golden State Warriors and deleted multiple Warriors-related posts on his social media pages.

Thompson is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer after he and the Warriors failed to reach a contract extension. The five-time All-Star is coming off a disappointing 2023-24 campaign that saw him average less than 20 points per game for the first time in a decade. Warriors coach Steve Kerr also benched Thompson for a spell of the season, forcing him to come off the bench for the first time since his rookie year.

“You sulk, you pout when you’re not shooting up to your expected splits,” Thompson said in April. “I think I did better with that this year, just trying to exude great body language at all times and think deeper than just stats, think about your love for the game and why you do play this game.”

The Warriors have been vehement in saying they want Thompson to return.

“I know I speak for everyone in the organization, we want him back,” coach Steve Kerr said. “Obviously there’s business at hand and that has to be addressed. … But what Klay has meant to this franchise, as good as he is, we definitely want him back.”

Green and Stephen Curry are under contract through at least the 2025-26 season. Green holds a player option for the 2026-27 campaign.
