Ed Kelce isn’t here for Kanye West name-checking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on his latest song.

“Mental illness on full display,” the senior Kelce wrote on his alleged Facebook profile on Thursday, August 8, alongside a report on the topic.

West — who has been entangled in a feud with Swift for more than a decade ever since he infamously interrupted her speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards — seemingly mentioned both Travis and Swift on new track, “Lifestyle (Demo),” off of his new album, Vultures 2.

“I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” West raps.

Regarding Travis’ dad’s comment about West’s “mental illness,” the “Jesus Walks” artist opened up to The New York Times in 2018 about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and his dislike of taking medication for it. (Per the National Institute of Mental Health, bipolar disorder “is a mental illness that causes unusual shifts in a person’s mood, energy, activity levels, and concentration.”)

In the years since igniting the feud in 2009, both West and Swift have both written songs about the drama, with the “Gold Digger” rapper dropping “Famous” in 2016 — the controversial track that explicitly name-drops Swift.

“For all my southside n****s that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b**** famous,” he raps on the song. The lyric not only made headlines for its brazen call-out, but also because Kim Kardashian leaked a phone call of Swift approving part of the line.

Swift, for her part, crafted her 2018 Reputation album — and era — around how she was portrayed as the villain in the situation, according to fan lore. Her most recent song rumored to be about West is “Cassandra” from The Tortured Poets Department earlier this year.
