Megan The Stallion Says She Had ‘Real Breakdown’ After Tory Lanez Shooting | 102.7 KIIS-FM

Megan Thee Stallion is giving fans a glimpse at what she endured over the past five years during the toughest moments of her life.

On Wednesday, October 16, the Houston native debuted the trailer for Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words ahead of its debut on Amazon Prime. The trailer begins with the moment when she decided she wasn’t “having fun” as an artist amid all of the traumatic events that impacted her life from the death of her mother Holly Thomas to the night when Tory Lanez shot her in the feet.

“I think I really forgot who I was, and when life started really getting crazy, I didn’t have her,” she says.

“That’s when I started getting the backlash,” she continues. “The shooting. The betrayal. I was definitely getting a little too engulfed in social media…I had really had, like, a real breakdown.”

The trailer features a scene where Meg breaks down into tears while hugging someone, which shows just how raw and authentic the rest of doc will be. Her first documentary isn’t totally depressing though. Fans will also get to go behind the scenes of her “Hot Girl Summer Tour” with GloRilla, her graduation from Texas Southern University and other key moments from her life and career. She also shares never-before-seen footage of the good times she had with her Hotties from all around the world.

Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words is set to debut on Amazon Prime on October 31. Watch the trailer above.
