As the ever-increasing number of sexual assault lawsuits come out against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the more celebrities are mentioned in the documents.
While the stars have been notably anonymous in the most recent documents — and never mentioned by name — two lawsuits against the disgraced rapper, 55, have mentioned a total of three stars who were somehow allegedly involved in Diddy’s alleged sexual assault. (For what it’s worth, two of these public figures were allegedly perpetrators or involved in the crime, whereas another one allegedly stopped the act.)
In one of the most recent lawsuits against Diddy, filed by lawyer Tony Buzbee on Sunday, October 20, one teenager (referred to in the paperwork as John Doe) claimed that the Bad Boy executive sexually assaulted him around 2022. The alleged victim, who was 13 at the time, claimed that he was in a private, 1:1 business meeting with Diddy when the “I’ll Be Missing You” artist allegedly exposed himself to John Doe and grabbed John Doe’s genitals.
“The situation escalated until another individual, Professional Athlete A, entered the office and intervened which ended the Combs’ assault of Plaintiff (Doe),” the lawsuit reads. “At this moment, Plaintiff escaped from Combs and left the office. After escaping the office, Plaintiff left the party to return home.”
In another lawsuit, a woman identified as only Jane Doe, alleged that she was 13 years old when she attended an 2000 MTV VMAs after-party. After feeling drowsy, she made her way to a bedroom to lie down when Diddy and an unnamed female star and an unnamed male star entered the room.
The woman claimed in the documents that the unnamed male star raped her, while Diddy and the unnamed female star watched. Diddy then raped her, she alleged, while the unnamed male and female celebrities looked on.
In February, music producer Rodney Jones didn’t hesitate to name more than a dozen celebrities who were somehow involved in Diddy’s circle and received either financial benefits from the rapper’s alleged crimes, or were able to make Hollywood connections due to their association with Diddy.
Jones himself claimed he was groomed and the victim of sexual misconduct, while also alleging that Diddy was involved in sex trafficking operations. (Notably, Diddy was arrested in September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution; he is sitting in a Brooklyn jail until his trial next May. He has pleaded not guilty.)

As for the celebrities named in Jones’ documents, many were not accused of any actual wrongdoing — but were somehow connected to Diddy, even through mutual connections.
One notable name was Prince Harry; in the suit Jones claimed that Diddy’s associates were able to gain access to the prince — for their (and Diddy’s) own clout.
“Mr. Combs was known for throwing the ‘best’ parties,” the court filing, obtained by Newsweek read. “Affiliation with and/or general business partnerships with Mr. Combs garnered legitimacy, immense success, and access to top and emerging artists, celebrities, famous athletes, political figures, musicians, and international dignitaries like … Prince Harry.”
However, it appears that Harry (and his brother, Prince William) only met Diddy once — when he performed at a 10-year tribute in 2007 to honor their late mother, Princess Diana.
Other people in Jones’ lawsuit have been careful not to have been named, though pop culture fans are sure to identify the stars that are mentioned.
One person is described as “a Grammy Award-winning R&B singer who had trouble with law enforcement after assaulting a Bajan billionaire, whose name was also redacted.” Another redacted name was described as a “Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.”
Last month, when Buzbee announced that he and his firm were representing 120 accusers — 60 men and 60 women, some of whom were minors at the time — he alluded to the claim that various stars enabled Diddy’s crimes.
The attorney claimed his legal team had “more than 3,285 individuals contact us from people claiming to have been victimized by Sean Combs.” Buzbee declared that he “will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors” — “enablers” whose “names will shock you.”
Diddy’s legal team has repeatedly — and vehemently — denied all accusations against their client.
“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof,” his spokespeople told Newsweek in a statement on Wednesday. “Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”
Their latest statement from Diddy’s lawyers doubles down on their previous argument.
“Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman,” the hip-hop mogul’s attorneys announced after the first six lawsuits against him were filed last week.
