Dolly Parton is weighing in on Taylor Swift‘s relationship with Travis Kelce.
While promoting her jewelry collaboration with Kendra Scott, Parton, 78, sang the “Fortnite” singer’s praises to E! on Wednesday, November 13. “I’m crazy about Taylor,” the country superstar gushed. “I just admire her so much, what she’s done with her life, her career.”
The “Jolene” singer seemed to approve of the 14-time Grammy winner’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, telling the outlet, “She’s such a great artist and songwriter, and then their little love affair… I’m thinking people love romance.”
The 9 to 5 actress seemingly knows a thing or two about relationships, as she has been married to her husband, Carl Dean, since 1966. Last year, the Tennessee native spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her marriage and how she likes how they are in different industries — similar to Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35. “He loves music, but he’s not in the music business at all, so we have different things to talk about, his world and my world, and we work really well together,” Parton told the outlet.
Parton also explained that humor often keeps her and Dean, 82, close. “We have a lot of love and respect for each other, and I think the key to all of it — we both have a crazy, warped sense of humor, so we have a lot of fun.”
As for the “Tortured Poets Department” songstress and the Super Bowl Champion, the couple has been going strong since the beginning of their whirlwind romance in 2023.
The singer-songwriter has shown up for the NFL superstar at all his home games this season, most recently attending his Sunday, November 10 game against the Denver Broncos.
Swift will spend the final leg of her Eras Tour in Canada. The tour will conclude on Sunday, December 6, in Vancouver. On Thursday, November 14, Travis’s mom, Donna Kelce, went on Today, and shared that Swift may not be at the Kelce’s Thanksgiving dinner because “She has her tour to do.”
