Matthew Perry’s friend, Athenna Crosby, has revealed to ET that he had many plans for his future, including a biopic. Crosby was photographed having lunch with the actor at Hotel Bel-Air the day before he was found dead in his Los Angeles home. She explained that he “wanted to make a movie about his life” and wanted Zac Efron to play his younger self and “was gonna ask him soon.” “He was just looking forward to sharing more about his story and his recovery from addiction, and really championing that cause to help more people, he was so optimistic and happy about everything that he wanted to do”, Crosby told ET. Perry and Efron previously worked together on the comedy ’17 Again’, where Efron portrayed a 17-year-old version of Perry’s character. Crosby also shared that the ‘Friends’ star was “doing great” and “he’s goofy, he’s silly. He was cracking jokes the whole time.”
