At the age of 15, Evin Blomberg was accepted into the studio of Robert Lipsett at The Colburn School Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, California, where she received both a Bachelor of Music degree and Artist Diploma degree. While living in Los Angeles, Evin took part in numerous productions in the film and entertainment industry for the GRAMMY Foundation, ABC television network, and several music records. Evin then went on to study at the Manhattan School of Music in New York as a student of Pinchas Zukerman, and received a Master of Music degree in the Pinchas Zukerman Performance Program.

Currently, Evin lives in Independence, Kentucky and plays in the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Previously, Evin was based in London, England, where she performed in the violin sections of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. Outside of her career as an orchestral musician, Evin is passionate about performing and spends her time doing outreach and sharing music with the community. Evin is the Founder and Director of the Soli Music Society, an organization that seeks to strengthen, enrich, and inspire the community through music. Based in the Cincinnati area, the Soli Music Society hosts performances around the community, ranging from intimate chamber music concerts to free performances for kids at schools and libraries. Evin’s mission is to help classical music reach a wider and more diverse audience, while sharing her passion for classical music.

Evin grew up in Palo Alto, California, and was a student of Alexander Barantschik and Davis Law. She attended the Preparatory Division program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and was a member of the Golden State Youth Orchestra (formerly known as the El Camino Youth Symphony) for many years. Prior to joining the Prep program at SFCM, Evin studied with the late Dr. Camilla Kolchinsky. Dr. Kolchinsky was always dedicated to inspiring young musicians and sharing her passion for music, and for that Evin is very grateful.
