Fans have defended Andrew Scott after he was asked “inappropriate” questions by a BBC journalist on the BAFTAs red carpet. Scott did some interviews on the red carpet before the ceremony and stopped to talk to the BBC’s Colin Paterson. Paterson asked him if he knew fellow Irish actor Barry Keoghan to which Scott said yes. He then proceeded to ask Scott what he thought of Keoghan’s famous “naked dance scene” in ‘Saltburn.’ Scott shook his head and responded after stuttering for a few moments, saying, “I won’t spoil it for anybody.” Despite him looking uncomfortable, Patterson then asked, “There was a lot of talk about prosthetics. How well do you know him?” Scott shook his head again and left the interview, to which the journalist said, “Too much?” In response to this interview, one fan wrote on X, “This is frankly disgusting… he looks visibly uncomfortable the guy carried on. Truly horrid.”
