Bebe Rexha has threatened to “bring down” the music industry in a fiery social media outburst. The ‘I’m Good’ singer revealed the alleged mistreatment she feels she has suffered within the industry, in a series of posts on X. “I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. I Have been UNDERMINED. I’ve been so quiet for the longest time. I haven’t seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS” said the singer via X. She added, “things must change or I’m telling all of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly.” Fans were quick to assume that her anger was a reference to when her contributions to David Guetta’s 2015 track ‘Hey Mama’ were not initially credited. Another fan suggested that the latest online revelations may be a marketing ploy, as it came at the same time as the release of her new single titled ‘I’m the Drama’. The artist replied, “Marketing? I have no budget for that. IM FED UP.” Rexha responded by explaining that her outburst came from a place of sadness, not anger, and that she was “sitting in her hotel room crying.” She continued. “I’ve felt hopeless for the longest time. I’ve been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me.” This latest wave of posts also comes after she called out rapper G-Eazy on social media, a message she ended up deleting. In the Instagram story, Rexha claimed G-Eazy treated her poorly after the release of their duet, ‘Me, Myself, and I’, in 2015. “‘Cause I could go in on all the sh–ty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit,” Rexha initially posted. “Someone from my team had me take down my Instagram story,” she shared in a follow-up post, explaining why she removed the story. “Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing. I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said,” Rexha held. What do you think Bebe Rexha is referring to in her latest X outburst?
