Brandon Silverstein’s S10 Gets Backing from Avex USA

Japanese music giant Avex said on Thursday it made a strategic investment Brandon Silverstein‘s management company S10 Entertainment.

The partnership with S10, which is a joint operation with Jay Z’s Roc Nation, will give Avex’s Japanese talent “access to best-in-class management teams in the U.S., as they look to develop and break Japanese acts globally, while also providing a unique route into the Asian market for S10 and Roc Nation’s stars,” according to a joint statement.

The amount invested and other terms were not disclosed. S10 Publishing and Avex have had a partnership dating back to at least 2020.

“We’ve achieved a tremendous amount with Brandon in recent years, and over that time built a great trust between us,” Naoki Osada, Avex USA‘s chief executive officer, said in a statement. “We share a lot in common with our respective companies’ DNA, and extending our partnership was a natural and organic step.”

With offices in Los Angeles and New York, S10 provides management, publishing, label services, media production and investment services to clients like Normani. Its entertainment partners include Jay-Z, Ryan Tedder, Max Matsuura and Simon Fuller. S10’s publishing division includes tracks by artists like Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, Rihanna, Drake, Doja Cat, Tate McRae, Selena Gomez, Kid Laroi and Khalid.
