Actor Andre Braugher, best known for his role as Captain Raymond Holt in ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine,’ has passed away at 61 after a brief illness. The two-time Emmy winner also played Detective Frank Pembleton in the series ‘Homicide: Life on the Street.’ His illustrious career included roles in acclaimed productions like the movie ‘Glory’ and the TV show ‘Men of a Certain Age’. Tributes poured in from friends and former co-stars, including Terry Crews, who said he was grateful for their time together. “Can’t believe you’re gone so soon. I’m honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you and shared 8 glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent,” wrote Crews in an Instagram post. Braugher’s recent work included a role in the movie ‘She Said,’ a biographical drama about the Harvey Weinstein investigation. He is survived by his wife and three children.
