A new date has been announced for the postponed Bruce Springsteen concert in Edmonton.

The show with the New Jersey rocker and his E Street band will be on Nov. 19, 2024, at Rogers Place. Tickets purchased for the show on Nov. 6, 2023, which was cancelled when Springsteen fell ill, are valid for the new date. Ticket holders need not do anything except hold onto their tickets until next year.

If original ticketholders want a refund, they have until Nov. 12, 2023, to request it via a link sent today from Ticketmaster.

In September, The Boss announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he was postponing the tour “out of an abundance of caution” while he undergoes treatment for peptic ulcer disease. The condition causes ulcers to form in the stomach or small intestine that can cause heartburn, nausea and stomach pain.

Springsteen, who just turned 74, was scheduled to play in Edmonton on Nov. 6. All Canadian dates will be pushed to next year.

Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year,” said Springsteen in the statement.
