Caron Veazey joins Three Six Zero’s management/entertainment partnership unit as Partner


Global artist management company Three Six Zero has entered into a partnership with Something In Common, a management and consulting agency founded by veteran music executive Caron Veazey.

As part of the partnership, Veazey will join Three Six Zero’s expanding global management and entertainment partnership division as a Partner, according to a press release issued on Friday (October 27).

Veazey brings to the partnership her artist client, METTE, a new talent fresh from the launch of her EP, METTENARRATIVE (Since 93/RCA).

METTE has gained attention with sold-out headline performances in major cities like London, New York, and Los Angeles. She also appeared as Video Girl Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s 2023 film, Barbie.

Also known for her involvement in the N.E.R.D and Rihanna’s Lemon music video, METTE has over 333,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and over 11,900 subscribers on YouTube.

Prior to setting up  Something In Common in 2020, Veazey served as the long-time manager for Pharrell Williams for more than a decade, creating campaigns around hits like Happy, Blurred Lines, and Get Lucky with Daft Punk.

She also served as General Manager of Pharell Williams’ creative collective, i am OTHER. Pharrell received seven Grammy Award wins, two Academy Award nominations and launched numerous collaborations in the fashion, art, and business worlds while working with Veazey.

In addition to her managerial experience, Veazey is also the co-founder of the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), an advocacy group dedicated to addressing racism within the music industry and striving for parity for Black artists, executives, and professionals across all facets of the music business. 

She also serves on the Advisory Board of the NYU Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

Veazey’s contributions to the music industry have earned her recognition as one of Billboard’s Women in Music honorees multiple times, including in 2023.

Three Six Zero, with offices in Los Angeles, Miami, and London, represents a wide range of global talent including Calvin Harris, WILLOW, Majid Jordan, Skepta, FKA Twigs, and Jabari Banks.

Earlier this month, Three Six Zero joined a $3 million funding round for New York-headquartered music AI technology startup Hook.

Three Six Zero continues to grow its business with investments in a number of management firms in recent years including in Forward Motion Artists, a management company run by Jazz Spinder, UK music management company Palm Artists, and SARM Music Village in London.

Veazey’s deal with Three Six Zero came four months after she joined the board of mobile ticketing and music discovery platform, DICE, as a director.Music Business Worldwide
