Céline Dion Reveals She Almost Died Fighting Stiff-Person Syndrome | Entertainment

Céline Dion has revealed in an interview with NBC that she almost died while battling stiff-person syndrome. The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer opened up about being diagnosed with the rare condition in an upcoming documentary. She will discuss her health in ‘I Am: Celine Dion’ which is set to be released on Amazon Prime Video.  “Céline Dion at some point—she is now much better—but at some point she almost died. The documentary was so jarring to me and moving—I couldn’t believe what they were able to capture in it,” said journalist Hoda Kotb during the interview.  Dion’s neurological disorder has prevented her from touring for two years.  In the trailer for the documentary, the Canadian admits that she misses touring “so much.”
