The NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) is pleased to announce the Spring 2024 schedule for the “Made in NY” Talks series. Presented in partnership with the Center for Communication, the series brings together industry leaders to share insights, information and news with New Yorkers looking to work in the media and entertainment industries. The talks are in-person, free and open to the public.
“We are thrilled to once again partner with the Center for Communication on the “Made in NY” Talks series which, this Spring, provides resources and information on how to begin a career in NYC’s world-famous entertainment industry,” said Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Pat Swinney Kaufman. “With the resolution of the labor stoppages, the extension of the NY state film tax credit, and expansion of our infrastructure through new studios across the boroughs, these panels come at a perfect time for interested New Yorkers to explore opportunities in film and television production.”
