Dallas Mavericks vs. OKC Thunder playoff schedule announced

Dallas advanced to the second round after beating the Los Angeles Clippers in six games. Oklahoma City Thunder swept their series against the Pelicans.

DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs after winning their first round series against the Los Angeles Clippers in only six games (4-2).

Next up, they’ll take on the top seed in the Western Conference: the Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC took the regular-season series 3-1, and the Thunder defeated Dallas in five of the last seven meetings between these teams over the last two seasons.

Each team features a finalist for the MVP. Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are both battling against Denver’s Nikola Jokic for the award. It’ll also be the first time Doncic and Gilgeous-Alexander have met in the playoffs.
