Drake says his son Adonis is the greatest of all time in honor of his birthday.
On Sunday, October 13, Drake posted a pair of photos from his son’s 7th birthday celebration to Instagram. The father-and-son duo flashed huge grins as they posed in front of a Spongbob-themed background. “Big Don,” Drizzy wrote in the caption. Numerous celebrities like Big Sean, Lala Anthony, D-Nice and more all sent birthday wishes to the young king. In another post, the 37-year-old artist shared more photos of Adonis’ birthday party including one image with Grandpa Dennis Graham in the background.
“Baby goat you are different,” Drake wrote in the caption.
Adonis has become a major part of Drake’s life in recent years. The rapper and French artist Sophie Brussaux welcomed their son on October 11, 2017, however, both parents shielded the child from the public eye. Fans didn’t know Adonis existed until Pusha T revealed Drake had a son in his 2018 diss track “Story of Adidon.” Drizzy confirmed the news a few months later on his Scorpion album in songs like “Emotionless” and “March 14.”
Drake and Adonis have been attached at the hip ever since the world found out about him. The two have been spotted courtside at several basketball games over the years. They even hit the road together during the OVO rapper’s “It’s All A Blur Tour.” His son also made the cover art for Drake’s recent album For All The Dogs.
Drake usually goes all out for his son on his birthday. When Adonis turned 6 last year, Drake celebrated by releasing his son’s debut song “My Man Freestyle.” He even had a cameo in the official music video, which featured Adonis and his friends playing basketball.
Happy birthday Adonis!
