Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers Got Matching Tattoos on Live TV

Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers are “bonded for life.”

During the “Levitating” singer’s Tuesday night Late Night appearance, she and Meyers became ink buddies, as they got matching tattoos from the New York City-based celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang on camera together.

Harkening back to their iconic day drinking bit on Meyers’ show back in December, the pair each downed a tequila shot in preparation that was sent down a Barbie Dreamhouse slide (along with two lookalike dolls of the singer and late night host).

Meyers, nervously stating that this was his first ever tattoo, took an extra shot for good measure, while the “Dance the Night” singer joked that she had already had about 20 shots before suggesting that their matching tattoo should be a star.

“Oh my God, this is perfect,” she said, preparing for Bang Bang to put the small star on her ankle. “I’m very excited. We’re going to be, like, bonded for life.”

As Meyers nervously prepared for his star, he asked the singer if she would judge a romantic partner if he had an unfortunate tattoo, to which she said yes.

“Like Snoopy? Not good?” Meyers joked, to which Lipa replied, “Snoopy — not a great one.”

Finally, the time came, and Meyers put his tiny star on the back of his lower leg, admitting: “It’s not so bad.”

Lipa is set to release her third album in 2024, and has been doing rounds of press as promotion for Barbie The Album, on which she was heavily featured. Her track from Barbie‘s soundtrack “Dance the Night” has been shortlisted for best original song at this year’s Oscars, and she was up for best original song in a motion picture at the Golden Globes on Jan. 7 — although the prize went to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”, also from the Barbie soundtrack.
