Afghan A-listers stunned at the Tuti Gala over the weekend, honoring their culture and heritage at the star-studded event.

The gala, held in San Jose, California, on Saturday, October 19, was a celebration of Afghan culture, art, and empowerment, with Afghan celebrities from across the globe in attendance — including singer Aryana Sayeed, filmmaker Samir Rassoly, UFC alum Siyar Bahadurzada, among others.

While the stars showed up and showed out, one high-profile attendee stole the show on Saturday night: Durana Elmi, whose Cymbiotika company served as the title sponsor of the event.

Arriving at the gala in an Afghan-inspired dress and a powerful presence to match, Elmi — the COO and co-founder of Cymbiotika, a natural and organic online supplement store — rocked a frock that featured intricate traditional patterns that highlighted her cultural roots while merging modern elegance.

Throughout the evening, stars celebrated Afghan creativity and achievement with showcased performances, fashion, and art from prominent Afghan figures — including a memorable speech from Elmi, who took the stage to introduce Sayeed’s performance.

The wellness guru, who received a standing ovation for her remarks, noted: “This is about more than just one night — it’s about lifting up the Afghan community worldwide.”
