Deadpool and Wolverine fast approaches, and inappropriate popcorn buckets aside, the movie is doing yet another scandalous product that is in partnership with…Xbox?
Yeah it’s uh, well, about what you’d expect for a Deadpool promotion. The “designed by Deadpool” controller has his colors, yes, but the back of it is…his butt.
No, the controller is not available for purchase. I’m not even sure you could really play with it effectively with those cheeks in the back there. Are they smooshy or firm? But in any case, the controller is being given away to just one person as part of a sweepstakes.
There are Deadpool things you can buy, namely on July 22, the first 1,000 people who buy an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 will get a Deadpool controller holder. But the butt controller will be given away to one fan. To potentially win that you have to:

The official sweepstakes post has already been retweeted 31,000 times in two hours, so it’s uh, going to be a bit of an uphill battle. But hey, why not. I’ll do it. But if you want to display the controller in your room, I assume you have to face it backwards so it makes any amount of sense. I am probably getting too far ahead of myself with those 1 in 31,000 odds.
Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 26 as the only MCU film out this year. It’s gotten positive previews from outlets based on the first half hour or so, and we’ll see how it does once it’s fully released and all the cameos come to light. See you then.
