Entertainment Community Fund Will Honor Sonia Friedman and Seth MacFarlane at Annual Gala
The benefit will also celebrate Warner Bros. Television Group.
The Entertainment Community Fund‘s Annual Gala will be held April 8 at the New York Marriott Marquis.
The evening—which honors entertainment professionals working in film, TV, theatre, music, and dance—will celebrate Tony and Olivier-winning producer Sonia Friedman; writer, actor, director, producer, and singer Seth MacFarlane; and Warner Bros. Television Group, Emmy-winning producer of scripted, unscripted, and animated programming. All three will receive the Entertainment Community Fund Medal of Honor.
The celebration will begin at 6 PM ET with cocktails, followed by a 7 PM dinner and tribute. Performance details will be announced at a later date. Special guests will include Annette Bening, Maria Friedman, Liz Gillies, and more.

The
Entertainment Community Fund Medal of Honor was inaugurated May 9,
1910, when it was first presented to President William Howard Taft. The
award was revived in 1958, and since 1992, when Shubert Organization
President Bernard B. Jacobs was recognized, the award has been presented
