FOX 13 viewers capture amazing views of Northern Lights

Many FOX 13 Seattle viewers sent in photos of the Northern Lights just after midnight on Saturday, as western Washington got an amazing view of the spectacle!

FOX 13 viewers shared their colorful photos of the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights.

“It was cool to see the Aurora through the trees and reflecting off the water,” said John Murphy. 

Murphy was able to take several pictures of the spectacle from Alki Beach.

“We were chasing it,” said Seattle resident Nick Roberts. “There was too much light pollution where we were, but we eventually went to a soccer field in Redmond. It was amazing, there were like 1,000 other people who had the same idea too.”
