She was hailed as the new superstar of Hindi cinema after a string of blockbusters like Shola Aur Shabnam, Deewana, and many more. She was signing films left, right, and centre like Rang and Laadla. It was the fateful April of 1993, when at the age of 19, she left for the heavily abode. She fell from the balcony of her Mumbai apartment. Though her death was subject to conspiracy theories, her father denied any wrong-doing. The official cause of her death were deemed to be head injuries and internal bleeding. She was cremated on 7 April 1993 at the Vile Parle crematorium in Bombay.
Back in 2018, IANS reported diplomatic sources as saying that the Dubai Police had transferred the case to Dubai Public Prosecution following revelation that the legendary actress died due to “accidental drowning” in her hotel room. Later, a Dubai Police forensic report stated that 54-year-old Sridevi died due to “accidental drowning” in the bathtub of her hotel room here before her dinner date with husband and film producer Boney Kapoor. This development came a day after media reported that she had died due to a cardiac arrest.
Another twist came with the mention in the forensic report of traces of alcohol in her blood — with some media reports claiming that it was found to have been at “elevated levels”.
The rising star of Hindi cinema was found hanging in his apartment on June 14, 2020. The cause of death that was reported by the media was suicide, but fans continue to believe there’s a lot more to what meets the eye. The case was transferred to the CBI nothing concrete or conclusive has come out.
The Emmy-nominated actor was found dead of an apparent drowning at his Los Angeles home, according to the Los Angeles Times and celebrity website TMZ, which was the first to report the news. Both outlets cited unnamed sources confirming Perry’s death.
Perry’s publicists and other representatives did not immediately respond to messages from The Associated Press seeking comment. Asked to confirm police response to what was listed as Perry’s home address, LAPD Officer Drake Madison told AP that officers had gone to that block “for a death investigation of a male in his 50s.”
Amar Singh Chamkila
Amar Singh Chamkila was known as the Elvis Presley of Punjab due to his electrifying performances on stage. On March 8, 1988, a gang of motorcyclists gunned him and his wife Amarjot after firing multiple rounds of bullets wounding the couple and other members of the entourage. The case was never solved although it’s reported the assassins were the Sikh militants.
