‘General Hospital’ Star Johnny Wactor Cause Of Death Revealed | Arts And Entertainment


The details surrounding the death of actor Johnny Wactor have been disclosed by the LA County Medical Examiner-Coroner. The actor, best known for playing Brando Corbin in General Hospital, was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles. It has now been revealed that Wactor’s official cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. According to TV station KTLA, Wactor was shot dead in the early morning during an attempted catalytic converter theft. The LAPD responded to an incident at Pico Boulevard and Hope Street, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. In a statement, Wactor’s agent, David Shaul, called him a “spectacular human being” who was a “real moral example to everyone”. The LAPD has said that the victim saw three men stealing the catalytic converter from his vehicle and when he confronted them, they shot him. The perpetrators fled the scene, leaving Wactor critically injured. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
