Gwen Stefani Suffers Mysterious Injury, Shares Sorrowful Message With Fans

Gwen Stefani cancelled her August 17th show at Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City after suffering a “mysterious” injury over the weekend.

According to Page Six, the “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker was slated to play at the storied New Jersey arena as part of her current four-date tour running through October, but had to cancel the show due to an undisclosed injury.

Stefani took to her Instagram Story to break the unfortunate news to fans citing doctor’s orders.

“As a result of a recent injury and in consultation with my doctors, I’ve been advised that I’m not able to perform on August 17 at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City. I’m so sorry.”

The “Just a Girl” star closed out the message by assuring fans that the concert would be rescheduled and that anyone who purchase a ticket would receive an email from Ticketmaster regarding a new date. Stefani did not provide any details as to what type of injury she was suffering from, or what the doctor’s said about her ability to perform at scheduled shows moving forward.

The No Doubt alum is slated to take the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the South Star Music Festival next month. A rescheduled Hard Rock Live performance date has yet to be announced as Stefani recovers from her mysterious injury ahead of her highly-anticipated September shows.
