How to watch Orioles vs. Yankees on Roku on Sunday, July 14

The bad news is that when the Orioles host the New York Yankees on Sunday morning, it will be broadcast on yet another streaming service. The good news is it will come without any local home television territory blackouts. The even better news is fans won’t need to shell out subscription fees.

Baltimore’s series finale, with first pitch scheduled for 11:35 a.m. at Camden Yards, will be free everywhere The Roku Channel is available. It’s the ninth of 18 games slotted into Major League Baseball’s new partnership: Sunday Leadoff on Roku. The game will not be available on Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.

Fans can watch the American League East’s top teams square off on Roku devices and The Roku Channel. It will also be available to MLB.TV subscribers in the MLB App and in the Extra Innings Package. The broadcast will feature a pre and postgame show, each about 15 minutes.

In- and out-of-market blackouts won’t apply. And there are no international restrictions on MLB.TV.

The Sunday Leadoff games can be found on the home screen of any Roku device. Fans can also simply search for MLB Leadoff. The Roku Channel can also be found on a variety of smart TVs (Roku TVs, Amazon Fire TVs, Google TVs, Samsung TVs, Roku Players, Amazon Fire TV Devices, Google TV Devices) as well as The RokuChannel.com and the Roku Mobile app on IOS or Android. No logins are required.

It would be hard not to tune in.

The slumping Orioles, losers of five of their past 10, still hold a two-game lead in the division over the struggling Yankees. New York is 3-7 over its past 10 contests.

The weekend set comes at a pivotal time. It’s a shot for the Orioles to possibly extend their divisional lead heading into the All-Star break or subsequently let their rival close the gap.

Baltimore has one more Sunday Leadoff game this season at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, against the Tampa Bay Rays.
