The 2024 Eastern Conference Final is now best of three.
The reigning Eastern Conference champion Florida Panthers and Presidents Trophy-winning New York Rangers are even at two games apiece in what’s been a highly competitive conference final.
After Florida took Game 1 in New York by a score a 3-0, the last three matchups have all been decided in overtime. New York emerged victorious in Games 2 and 3 to snatch the series lead, but Florida responded in Game 4 thanks to Sam Reinhart’s game-winner just over a minute into the overtime period.
The thrilling series now shifts back to New York for Game 5, where one team will move within a win of the Stanley Cup Final, while the other is pushed to the brink of elimination.
