While Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have enjoyed plenty of dates out in the public eye, the power couple also love their cozy nights in.
“They are both chill people who love their downtime,” a source told Us Weekly in an article published on Wednesday, September 18. “Staying in is a luxury for them.”
As for what a night at home consists of for a 14-time Grammy winner and a three-time Super Bowl champ, Swift and Kelce “enjoy cooking dinner together,” the insider added, noting: “It’s a refreshing contrast to their [public] lives.”
Swift, of course, has long documented her love of cooking — particularly baking. Over the years, she’s shared the recipe of her chai sugar cookies, and in 2020 she made Biden/Harris cookies in support of the current president and VP. (Though the “Fortnight” artist, 34, just officially endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, no word on if she’s baked any Harris/Walz 2024 cookies yet.)
Kelce, for his part, has also discussed how he and Swift love to spend time together in the kitchen.
“I thoroughly enjoy cooking with her,” the NFL star, 34, shared during a June press conference, adding that his girlfriend of over a year “makes a great Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll!”
The A-list pair know how to strike a “good balance” between their time together in the spotlight and their private time together at home, a second source told Us Weekly.
Swift and Kelce — who “see marriage as something they want sooner rather than later,” the first source shared — most recently hit the town together when taking in the U.S. Open in New York City earlier this month. The “Karma” artist has also been spotted cheering on Kelce at his two most recent Chiefs games.
