Tel Ganesan is the founder of Kyyba Films, a production company looking to open doors for the creative community, whether you’re a storyteller, filmmaker, or director. Ganesan was present at the 3rd annual Sno Ball Gala, where he spoke with rolling out about Jeezy’s impact in Atlanta and an upcoming film that the rapper will be in.
How does it feel to see what all Jeezy has done in Atlanta?
I think he has come a long way, especially with this foundation. He’s helping the youth, and it’s really inspiring, and I wish more people could do that. The city and the state will be a much better place.
How was it working with Jeezy on a film?
Obviously, people only see him mostly as a rapper, but for the first time, they’re going to see him as an actor. It’s an amazing experience. I wanted to share that after the movie comes out.
What has the city of Atlanta done for the entertainment industry?
Atlanta is a vibrant city. It’s the mecca of music, and some people call it Black Hollywood. It’s amazing to be part of this culture and have a movie coming out of the city.
