Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, and she is reportedly “thrilled” at the idea of becoming a mom of two.
A source recently told People that the Hunger Games star is “thrilled to be pregnant” again and that “she loves being a mom,” adding that this is the “perfect” time for her and Maroney to expand their family, Page Six reports. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019 after meeting through a mutual friend the previous year, are already parents to 2-year-old son Cy, per People.
“She’s thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will [be 3 years old] when the new baby arrives,” the source said, adding of Lawrence’s marriage to the art gallery director, “She’s very happy with Cooke. They are great together. He’s super chill and it rubs off on her.”
A representative for the Oscar winner confirmed to Vogue on Sunday (October 20) that she is expecting her second child, one day after she was photographed with her burgeoning baby bump while walking to dinner in Los Angeles, per Page Six.
Lawrence previously shared details about her whirlwind romance with Maroney, explaining how she knew she wanted to marry him and “commit fully” even though she didn’t feel ready to take that step before meeting him. The couple met in early 2018 and got engaged in February 2019, tying the knot later that year.
“He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever,” she joked. “And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person on the planet and you’re like, ‘You can’t leave!’ So I wanted to take that offer.”
