Jillian Share Named President of Teton Ridge Entertainment – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Jillian Share, who was recently eOne‘s President of Film Production, has been named President of Teton Ridge Entertainment, a new Los Angeles-based independent studio.

Teton Ridge’s mission is to bring audiences and businesses together through media, entertainment, lifestyle products and experiences connected to the great American West.

Under Share’s leadership, the entertainment division will produce films, television series, podcasts and other new media content, both scripted and unscripted.

Former Legendary Chairman and CEO and tech entrepreneur Thomas Tull is a backer with several other investors in Teton Ridge. It’s one of many companies Tull is involved with it at this point in time.

“I look forward to helping develop the many diverse stories within the western genre and bringing them to a new generation on a global basis,” said Share. “There is incredible demand for these types of narratives which have the ability to entertain and inspire, as well as speak to who we are as a country.”

At eOne, Share led the film division and shepherded several films into production including the 2x BAFTA nominated Viola Davis epic, The Woman King and the upcoming features Freaky Tales, from Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden and starring Pedro Pascal, Ben Mendelsohn, Jay Ellis, Dominque Thorne, and Normani; Dust Bunny, starring Sigourney Weaver and Mads Mikkelsen and Everything is Going to Be Great, starring Bryan Cranston and Allison Janney.

Prior to eOne, Share was EVP, Development and Production at David Heyman’s Heyday, during which she produced several projects, including Apples Never Fall, a series based on Big Little Lies’ author Liane Moriarty’s latest novel, which received a straight-to-series order from Peacock and will star Annette Bening and Sam Neill.

Before Heyday, Share was EVP of Christopher and Heather McQuarrie’s Invisible Ink where she led the development of a slate of projects, including the Tony Peckham-scripted thriller pilot The President Is Missing for Showtime, based on the best-selling James Patterson and President Bill Clinton novel and starring David Oyelowo and Janet McTeer.

Share began her career at Legendary Entertainment where she worked her way up to SVP of Production. While helping to build Legendary, she served as an EP on the gothic horror film Crimson Peak, directed by Guillermo Del Toro, and co-produced the $411M global grossing Pacific Rim and the Jackie Robinson biopic 42, among others.
