Jimmy Kimmel revealed that his 7-year-old son, William “Billy” John, successfully underwent his third open-heart surgery . Kimmel shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram of Billy smiling in his hospital bed, with many fans commenting their well wishes. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the dedicated medical staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Kimmel also praised his wife, Molly McNearney, for her incredible strength, and called Billy “the toughest (and funniest) 7-year-old we know”. The family received an outpouring of love from some well-known friends, including Carson Daly, Andy Cohen and John Stamos. “We love you Billy,” Daly wrote, while Cohen added, “Love to Billy!!!”. Last month, in celebration of Billy’s 7th birthday, Kimmel shared his son’s wish to raise funds for sick children.
