Kate Middleton Granted New Royal Title From King Charles | Entertainment

While Kate Middleton and King Charles undergo their respective cancer treatments, the king has granted his daughter-in-law a new royal title. Middleton has officially been appointed “Royal Companion of The Order of the Companions of Honour.” No royal has ever held this title before now, and King George V founded the order in 1917 to honor public service, arts, medicine and sciences. Although the Princess is staying out of the limelight amid her illness, this title comes with her immense dedication to charitable organizations. Such organizations include the Little Princess Trust and her own initiative, Shaping Us, which focuses on infants’ early development. Queen Camilla also received the title of “Grand Master and First or Principal Dame Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.” Additionally, Prince William received the new title of “Great Master of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath,” previously held by his father.
