Killer Mike won’t be charged following his arrest at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The rapper was arrested outside of the Peacock Theatre, after leaving the Grammys pre-telecast. Mike was arrested over an altercation with a security guard about his credentials and was booked for misdemeanor battery. Prior to the arrest, the Atlanta rapper and activist won three Grammys, including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. In a statement following the arrest, Mike said, “I have the upmost confidence that I will ultimately be cleared of all wrongdoing.” According to TMZ, the LA Attorney’s Office will not be filing charges, and Mike agreed to do community service with a non-profit.
