Kino Studios, a Los Angeles, CA-based entertainment tech company that introduces a community-based economic model to the entertainment industry, raised over $2M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round saw participation from Sequoia Capital’s Scout program, Slow Ventures, Metaweb Ventures, Genius Ventures, The Near Protocol, Blockchain Founders Fund, and film and television angels, domain experts, and family offices.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Daril Fannin and Austin Worrell, Kino Studio brings technology to film through community building, royalties processing, and IP discovery. On the KINO app, film and tv fans can find:
