Kristen Stewart Is “Happy” With Controversial Rolling Stone Cover | Entertainment

Kristen Stewart defended her recent Rolling Stone cover after some social media users accused it of pushing “Queer and non-binary ideology.” During an appearance at the Berlin Film Festival, Stewart dismissed the controversy surrounding the Collier Schorr-photographed images. “The existence of a female body thrusting any type of sexuality at you that’s not designed for exclusively straight males is something people are not super comfy with and so I’m really happy with it,” said Stewart. The ‘Twilight’ actress went on to say that it is okay to present ideas that people are not used to or may be offended by, especially in art. Stewart was at the film festival to promote her new movie, ‘Love Lies Bleeding’, where she spoke about the importance of queer film. She said that the era of queer films being “so pointedly only that” is over, saying it is about human experience and not representation.
