Lady Gaga is showing support for another rising pop star after seeing an older video of her performing one of Gaga’s own tracks.
The Joker: Folie à Deux star caught wind of an old video showing Sabrina Carpenter singing a cover of Gaga’s 2009 song “Speechless,” from her album The Fame Monster. In the clip, a younger “Espresso” singer belts out the lyrics of the bridge, asking, “And after all the drink and bars that we’ve been to/ Would you give it all up? Could I give it all up for you?”
The “Born This Way” singer even left a sweet, supportive comment under the video, writing, “love this so much love her,” alongside a crying emoji.
