A cake in the shape of Taylor Swift fell apart as it was en route to to an international baking competition — and photos show the life-sized treat’s final moments before its designer had to withdraw it from competition.

According to a report from the BBC, artist and baker Elza Baldzhiyska was planning to show off the Swift cake at the competition Cake International near the city of Birmingham in the U.K. on Friday, Nov. 1, when it began to fall apart.

Photos of the cake show it starting to bend at the knees, and Baldzhiyska can be seen holding the lSwift model up with one hand as she worked to try and fix it. The artist eventually withdrew the cake from competition.

Before it became distorted, the cake portrayed pop star Swift, 34, wearing her well-known custom Atelier Versace bodysuit adorned in pink and blue jewels and the matching glittering knee-high boots that she wears for the Lover portion of her set during the Eras Tour.

The photos of the wilting cake also showed Swift without hands, but the BBC reported that event organizers confirmed the hands were purposefully supposed to be added later on.

According to its website, Cake International — which runs from Friday, Nov. 1 to Sunday, Nov. 3 at the National Exhibition Centre — celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, and the Swift cake was set to be a focal point for the ceremonies.

The cake art of Taylor Swift wasn’t even the only humanoid display available so far at the event — artist Emma Jayne created a life-sized version of Queen Elizabeth I, and the BBC reported that an edible version of Dogpool, the canine from Deadpool & Wolverine, was also on display.

This isn’t the only large-scale tribute to the Tortured Poets Department singer that was installed over the past week.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, local Indianapolis outlet WLWT reported that the Indiana city’s Lucas Oil Stadium had received the traveling gigantic friendship bracelet that was previously installed at the New Orleans Caesars Superdome.

As a nod to the fan-favorite activity at Swift’s Eras Tour — which wraps up in Canada in December — the Caesars Superdome originally created the friendship bracelet for the singer’s performances there in October, and fans gave the stadium’s owners the idea to trade it around with the remaining stadiums.
