Bio
Rachel Guidry Whittle is known for The Purge, The Thing about Pam, NCIS New Orleans, and Girls Trip. She was born and raised in the heart of Cajun country, Lafayette, Louisiana. And while she entered the industry later than some, she formed a love for storytelling early in life. Growing up, Rachel’s father would teach her through telling stories rather than just making statements. This was when she learned first-hand the power stories have to teach lessons, provide escapes, and form connections. Years later, these gifts that storytelling offers to the world would pull her into the entertainment industry.

Ever versatile, she loves working behind the camera just as much as in front and firmly believes in helping wherever needed when on set. Because of this, Rachel has expanded her knowledge of the various roles on set and now does work as a filmmaker, such as directing and producing. Some of her favorite adventures in the filmmaking arena have come from a comedy sketch filmmakers’ troupe she is a part of called A Dangerous Flock.

Rachel’s love lies in authentic storytelling, whether in front of the camera or behind it. She says it best, “My favorite thing about filmmaking is that it requires collaboration. No one can do any of this on their own. It takes a beautiful mesh of minds to make it work.”
