The success of Britney Spears’ memoir, ‘The Woman in Me’, has many in Hollywood wanting to make it a movie or documentary. According to Ankler, Margot Robbie, Reese Witherspoon and Brad Pitt are reportedly among those interested in the potential project. A screen adaptation would be under their respective production companies: LuckyChap, Hello Sunshine and Plan B Entertainment. The pop icon’s memoir topped the New York Times bestseller list with 1.1 million copies sold in the US alone during its first week. The book uncovers Spears’ rise to fame, her romantic relationships, her secret abortion and her controversial 13-year conservatorship. Shonda Rhimes was rumored to be interested, but her spokesperson told Page Six she “is not pursuing this project.”
