Matthew Perry Had ‘Friends’ Writers Cut Chandler Cheating Story | Entertainment

Matthew Perry had ‘Friends’ writers cut a story from the show that involved Chandler cheating on Monica, according to an actress from the episode. Lisa Cash, who appeared on a 1999 episode of ‘Friends’, revealed to TMZ that writers wanted Chandler to cheat on Monica. She explained that the storyline revolved around Monica (Courtney Cox) getting into a heated argument with Chandler in Las Vegas. Cash’s character interrupted them by bringing up room service to his hotel room and Chandler had previously cheated with her on Monica. However, Perry felt this was not in his character’s nature and ‘Friends’ fans would not be forgiving. Therefore, he convinced the writers to cut it out. Cash then went on to play an air hostess in the same episode instead, attending to Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston).
