Breaking records in music is nothing new for Ariana Grande, but did you know her grandma just made history as the oldest artist ever to appear on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart?

Yup. Ari’s grandma Marjorie Grande – who she calls “Nonna” – is credited on the song “Ordinary Things”, which features on her new chart-topping album Eternal Sunshine. Per Billboard, the catchy tune debuted at No 55, meaning Ariana’s 98-year-old granny has officially clinched the title as the oldest artist ever to hit the Hot 100.

“Ordinary Things” closes with Nonna’s advice, as she reflects on her late husband, Frank. “Never go to bed without kissin’ goodnight,” Nonna shares. “That’s the worst thing to do; don’t ever, ever do that. And if you don’t feel comfortable doing it, you’re in the wrong place – get out.”

In a video shared on Ariana’s YouTube titled Frank Meets Babe – How My Grandparents Fell in Love, Marjorie shares her love story with the world, starting with how she met her future husband Frank when she was just 11 years old.
She said that things started to get romantic when she was 14 years old. They got married in 1946 and were together until his death in 2014. According to People, Frank and Marjorie had two daughters together, Judy and Joan, who then had three children between them, including Ariana and her brother Frankie, who were both born to Joan.
